Churches

• The Church of Virgin Mary with the miraculous icon of Virgin Mary discovered in January 1823 when St. Pelagia had a vision. The icon is considered to be the work of Evangelist Loukas. The church was founded in 1823 in the place of an older church of Saint John. At the same place was the ancient temple of Dionysos and a theatre.

• Church of Taxiarchs with a beautiful 18th century wooden temple.

• Monastery of Virgin Mary of the Angels (Dormition of Virgin Mary) in Kechrovouni founded in the 11th or 12th century where St. Pelagia saw the vision of Virgin Mary.

• Monastery of Saint Trinity – 18th century

• Church of Virgin Mary Vourniotissa with a miraculous icon discovered in 1670.

• Monastery of Virgin Mary Katapolianis founded in 1786, the Church of Eleousa, Church Kyra Xeni and others.

There are also a lot of Catholic Churches in Tinos with Metropolitan the Church of Virgin Mary Rodariou in village Xinara.
Other important catholic churches are Virgin Mary Vrisiou, Monastery of Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Monastery of Ursulines founded in 1862.

Museums

• Archaeological Museum with findings from the temple of Neptune and Amfitriti as well as the discoveries from the geometric tombs in “Exo Meria”.

• Foundation of Tinos Culture

• Mausoleum of Elli. Next to the entrance of the Church of Virgin Mary founded for the victims of the cruiser Elli which was torpedoed in 1940 in the port of Tinos.

• Museum of Tinos Artists

• Art Gallery with works of Greek and foreign painters.

• Chalepa house in Pyrgos.
